"Indonesia has received recognition as one of the best diving destinations in the world," said Director General of Tourism Destination Development government, Firman Rahim in the opening exhibition Deep & Extreme Indonesia 2013 in Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Central Jakarta.
Firman added that Indonesia has hundreds of dive point and has become a favorite of foreign tourists.
"Indonesia has a 700 point dive ever known since 5 years ago. Several point known as a paradise Indonesia dive under water, such as Bali, and mostly in eastern Indonesia," he said.
To that end, diving has become one of special interest tours developed by government. Diving activity is considered capable of bringing foreign tourists to Indonesia.
Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy together with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and dive association, agreed to develop marine tourism, marine sports and special interests, "said Firman.
